We are seeking a highly experienced Project Manager (PM) to support the USSOCOM J39 program. This is a mission-integrated leadership role embedded within SOCOM Headquarters, directly supporting Operations in the Information Environment (OIE), Information Operations (IO), Psychological Operations (PSYOP), SMEP, and ATLAS efforts.

This position operates within the Government’s battle rhythm and requires a leader who can translate mission needs into actionable execution, while managing performance, personnel, quality, and customer relationships in a high-visibility environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead full lifecycle Task Order execution and performance management

  • Provide direct oversight of all contractor personnel and tasking

  • Engage daily with USSOCOM J39 leadership and staff

  • Ensure delivery of:

    • Analysis

    • Planning support

    • Operational support

    • Data and information management

  • Drive quality, timeliness, and mission relevance of all deliverables

  • Identify and communicate:

    • Program risks

    • Resource gaps

    • Contractual or performance issues

  • Maintain seamless integration with USSOCOM battle rhythm and processes

  • Serve as the primary interface between contractor teams and Government leadership

  •  


Required Qualifications
  • Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility

  • Proven leadership experience managing complex programs or teams

  • Current PMI PMP or PgMP certification (required)

  • Minimum of 3 years (within the last 7 years) supporting:

    • USSOCOM J39 OR

    • Directly related OIE, IO, PSYOP, or influence operations environments


Desired Qualifications
  • 10+ years of experience leading DoD or SOF programs in relevant mission areas

  • Prior experience supporting USSOCOM HQ (MacDill AFB strongly preferred)

  • Deep understanding of:

    • Operations in the Information Environment (OIE)

    • PSYOP / MISO

    • SOF operational planning processes

  • Experience leading multi-functional analytic and operational teams

  • Demonstrated success managing high-visibility, customer-facing programs
