About the Role

Magnolia Plumbing, LLC is seeking a full-time Recruiter with service-industry recruiting experience (plumbing, HVAC, or similar preferred) to join our Human Resources team. Plumbing and HVAC recruiting experience is highly preferred. This role is based in our NE Washington, DC office and includes travel to support field offices in Hyattsville and Laurel, MD.

Key Responsibilities

  • Source candidates through job boards, referrals, networking, and industry associations
  • Screen applicants and follow up on referrals to assess qualifications and fit
  • Manage the interview process, including phone screens and coordination with hiring teams
  • Present shortlists and hiring recommendations to hiring managers with clear rationale
  • Build and maintain talent pipelines by cultivating relationships with schools, alumni groups, and professional organizations
  • Represent the company at job fairs and recruiting events to attract qualified candidates

Work arrangement: On-site during training; hybrid eligibility may be discussed after you are fully trained and consistently meeting expectations.

Requirements

Qualifications

Required

  • 2–5 years of recruiting experience
  • Experience using an applicant tracking system (ATS); Paylocity experience a plus
  • Strong interviewing, screening, and candidate assessment skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus

Preferred

  • Recruiting experience in plumbing, HVAC, or another skilled trades/service environment
  • Multi-site recruiting experience and comfort traveling between locations
  • HR sourcing and pipeline development experience
