Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and deploy AI/ML models tailored to insurance domain use cases such as underwriting, claims processing, and risk assessment
- Collaborate with data engineers and business stakeholders to build robust data pipelines and feature engineering workflows
- Lead end-to-end machine learning lifecycle including model training, validation, deployment, and monitoring
- Apply NLP, predictive analytics, and deep learning techniques to solve complex insurance business problems
- Translate insurance domain knowledge into actionable AI-driven solutions and insights
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to best practices in AI/ML development
- Partner with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions into existing insurance platforms and workflows
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in AI/ML engineering with a strong focus on data science and modeling
- Demonstrated experience in the insurance industry (underwriting, claims, actuarial, or policy management)
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, and ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn
- Experience with big data technologies such as Spark, Hadoop, or cloud-based data platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Strong understanding of MLOps practices including model deployment, versioning, and monitoring
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex AI concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field
