We are looking for a Senior Electrical Commissioning Project Engineer who can lead from the front, solve complex technical challenges, and drive commissioning outcomes in high-stakes environments.Â

You will play a direct role in ensuring critical systems are designed correctly, installed properly, and perform under real-world conditions.Â
What You’ll DoÂ
Project Leadership & ExecutionÂ
• Lead commissioning activities across the full project lifecycleÂ
• Execute and oversee functional testing, factory witness testing, and on-site validationÂ
• Manage multiple assignments while maintaining schedule, budget, and quality expectationsÂ
• Interpret contract documents to identify risks and opportunitiesÂ

Technical Expertise & Problem SolvingÂ
• Evaluate electrical distribution systems and building system interconnectivityÂ
• Troubleshoot system performance issues in real timeÂ
• Review design documentation and submittalsÂ

Client & Stakeholder EngagementÂ
• Lead commissioning meetings and communicate findingsÂ
• Serve as a trusted partner to clients and contractorsÂ
Â
Operational ContributionsÂ
• Complete field reports, documentation, and time managementÂ
• Support scheduling and revenue targetsÂ

Team DevelopmentÂ
• Mentor junior engineers and support training initiativesÂ
What You BringÂ
Core QualificationsÂ
• Electrical Engineering degree or Qualified Electrician backgroundÂ
• 7+ years in electrical systems OR 3+ years commissioningÂ
• Data center or mission-critical experienceÂ

Technical CapabilitiesÂ
• Experience with electrical distribution, HVAC systems, controls, fire alarm, and automationÂ
• Ability to read construction drawings and specificationsÂ
Â
Professional SkillsÂ
• Strong analytical and communication skillsÂ
• Ability to lead meetings and manage multiple prioritiesÂ
Â
Physical RequirementsÂ
• Ability to work in field environments, climb ladders, and lift ~30 lbsÂ

• EIT, CEM, LEED, OSHA 30, BIM experienceÂ
Travel RequirementsÂ
Regular travel to project sites with potential for broader U.S. travel. Must be able to work on-site as required.Â

Salary Range: $130,000 to $170,000
