Senior Financial Analyst

Overview

R&P is looking for an experienced Senior Business Financial Analyst who wants to join our team. We are a mid-sized defense contractor providing Business Financial Management, Engineering, Logistics, Program Management and Technical Services to government clients. We need a Senior Business Financial Analyst ready to join a fast-paced and exciting program to assist the Navy in constructing the newest class of Frigate. 

Responsibilities

• Provides financial and management support in the area of budget development, execution and reporting.
• Assists in the development of current year and out year Task Planning Sheet requirements.
• Using Navy financial tools, including Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), NAVSEA Enterprise Planning System (NEPS), Budget Planning System (BPS), and Electronic Data Warehouse (EDW) conducts analyses, reports status, and advises the Business Financial Manager of strategies to mitigate financial risks on program close out.
• Assists the program in responding to internal and external inquiries and requests for program information.
• Prepares budget exhibits using Program Budget Information System (PBIS) database, including PDOCS and RDOCs and assist in identification, justification, and defense of the financial resources for both current budgets and out-year forecasts.
• Assists in gaining acceptance for the Mid-Year Reviews and SCN Execution Reviews and assists in preparing budget presentations to document and defend yearly submissions to ASN Financial Management and Comptroller (ASN FM&C), OSD and Congress.
• Provides input and advises the Government of statutory and regulatory reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a business or related field
• 10+ years relevant experience in EVM/Financial Analysis (preferably in support of Navy programs)
• Experience using DoW Financial Management Systems such as: PPBE; ERP; NEPS (Preferred)
• Active Secret Clearance

Salary
