OverviewÂ
The Senior Instructional Designer, Global Operations Technical Learning, supports the Global Operations organization in the identification, development, and release of impactful learning solutions to support Global Operations and the Quality Management System (QMS).Â
Essential Duties &Â ResponsibilitiesÂ
Training Content DevelopmentÂ
Responsible for the creation of Capability/Competency Maps for key roles within Global OperationsÂ
Leverages eLearning tools in the development of innovative training solutions for key Global Operations’ initiatives including, but not limited to, the Annual Quality Training, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Good Clinical Practices (GCP), and other GxP, regulatory and technical priorities.Â
Utilizes emerging technologies, such as video, mixed reality, augmented reality, virtual reality, and immersive training to deliver impactful solutions to support business and compliance initiatives.Â
Leverages Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the development of learning solutions, translations, and other relevant applicationsÂ
Conducts comprehensive reviews of existing training materials for to evaluate for efficacy, supporting improvements to ensure training materials are clear, consistent, effective, and meet current accessibility standards.Â
Managing the full lifecycle of new technologies, including regulatory compliance, security reviews, , and sustained enablementÂ
Developing and producing interactive video and Extended Reality (XR) content Â
Learning Program GovernanceÂ
Partner with Global Operations leadership, and HR L&D, to define learning priorities for each teamÂ
Oversight of critical Learning KPIs and Metrics to ensure training effectivenessÂ
Builds upon existing capabilities in Agilent Global Operations to create and deliver our next-level vision for technical learning priorities across the organization. Â
This cross-functional role requires developing, managing a strong set of relationships, and collaborating across Global Operations and Agilent.Â
Partners with leaders across Global Operations to manage learning strategy, providing opportunities for employees’ career growth and alignment with Global Operations strategy. Â
Manages timelines, tools and resources through matrixed delivery teamsÂ
May mentor other training personnel across Global Operations.Â
Support internal and external audits, as needed
Qualifications
EducationÂ
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution.Â
Advanced Degree in learning and/or content development is preferred.Â
ExperienceÂ
Minimum 5 years of experience in training content development, leveraging eLearning authoring tools such as Articulate RISE, Captivate, Vyond, etc.Â
Experience using video content development, extended reality experiences, and virtual reality experiences is preferred.Â
Proficiency using Microsoft Office suite (including Teams, PowerPoint, EXCEL, etc.).Â
Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) guidelines and regulatory requirements is preferred.Â
Experience utilizing Artificial Intelligence (AI) in content development is preferred.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment with high attention to detail and maintaining ethical standards.Â
Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple projects and deliverables.Â
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Â
Fluency in English (written and verbal).Â
Additional Details
This job has a full time weekly schedule. It includes the option to work remotely. Applications for this job will be accepted until at least August 25, 2026 or until the job is no longer posted.The full-time equivalent pay range for this position is $124,160.00 - $232,800.00/yr plus eligibility for bonus, stock and benefits. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
