We are seeking Senior IT Technicians for a high-impact, 26-week Windows 11 Enterprise Migration project. This role requires a "white-glove" approach to technical support, combining advanced imaging skills with excellent user-facing professionalism.

The Technician shall execute the migration of endpoints to Windows 11, following the established desk-side pickup and return model. This includes performing manual backups, initiating SCCM imaging sequences, and conducting final post-image validation.

The Expectations

  • Full Lifecycle Migration: Responsible for the end-to-end upgrade process, including hardware pickup, manual data backups, and return-to-service.

  • Advanced Build Management: Beyond standard imaging, you will manually install and configure specialized software for complex workstations.

  • System Validation: Perform post-imaging checks to ensure all drivers, BIOS firmware, and network connectivity (Wi-Fi/LAN) are fully functional.

Quality Standards: Maintain a high "first-pass" success rate and ensure all deployment checklists are documented accurately.

Requirements

Requirements & Abilities

  • Technical Proficiency: Deep experience with Windows 11 migrations and SCCM-driven imaging.

  • Hardware Knowledge: Expert-level familiarity with enterprise-grade laptops, desktops, and workstations.

  • Data Integrity: Ability to perform manual user data backups to network shares and verify cloud synchronization (OneDrive).

  • Operational Agility: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet strict project milestones.

Background & Security

  • Federal Clearance: Must be able to pass a rigorous background check for secure facility badging and proximity card issuance.

  • Mobility: Must have reliable transportation for travel between regional facilities.

Flexibility: Ability to work standard business hours with occasional night shifts for specialty secure areas.

Benefits

  • Prestigious Experience: Work within high-security, restricted-access environments that are central to the region's infrastructure.

  • Technical Skill Building: Master enterprise-level imaging using SCCM and ServiceNow.

  • Complex Problem Solving: 60% of the environment involves specialized software builds, offering more than just "standard" imaging work.

  • Career Foundation: Passing the rigorous background check and badging process for this project is a "gold star" on any IT resume.

  • Predictable Schedule: Work primarily during standard business hours with a clear project roadmap.
