Senior Systems Manager – eDiscovery / Litigation Support
Location: Downtown Washington, DC
Work Arrangement: 100% onsite; no remote, hybrid, or telework
Position Type: Full-time, exempt
Employment Structure: Six-month temporary-to-permanent opportunity
Salary: Up to $125,000 annually, based on experience
Citizenship: U.S. citizenship required - No Visa or Sponsorship provided due to the nature of the work
Security Requirement: Must be able to obtain and maintain a DOJ Public Trust
About the Role
JLGOV is seeking a senior Systems Manager to support the U.S. Department of Justice Civil Rights Division. This position combines eDiscovery leadership, litigation support, RelativityOne administration, technical team management, user support, and legal production oversight.
The successful candidate will work directly with attorneys, case managers, technical staff, Government representatives, and other stakeholders to ensure litigation data is processed, reviewed, produced, secured, and supported accurately and on schedule.
This is a strong fit for experienced eDiscovery managers, litigation-support leaders, Relativity administrators, and technical project managers who have supervised teams and managed complex legal technology environments.
Must-Have Qualifications
Candidates must have:
- At least six years of first-line management experience
- Significant eDiscovery or litigation-support experience
- Strong knowledge of the litigation discovery process and EDRM workflow
- Hands-on RelativityOne experience
- Experience managing complex legal productions
- Experience supervising technical or litigation-support personnel
- Advanced PowerShell scripting and troubleshooting experience
- Experience with Windows systems, browser-based applications, help desk operations, documentation, and training
- An undergraduate degree
- U.S. citizenship
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DOJ Public Trust
- Availability to work full time onsite in Washington, DC.
What You Will Do
- Manage RelativityOne workspaces, processing, review, analytics, productions, and ARM activities
- Oversee load-ready, searchable PDF, native-file, metadata, and other complex legal productions
- Troubleshoot Relativity Review and Active Learning projects
- Provide technical guidance on ESI specifications
- Support attorneys, case managers, Government personnel, and legal proceedings
- Supervise data processors, systems analysts, database administrators, help desk personnel, and other technical staff
- Manage user support, documentation, training, system access, servers, storage, risk, security, and disaster recovery
- Create and review complex PowerShell scripts
- Produce reports covering collection, filtering, processing, review, and production activity
- Support extended hours when required by trials, productions, or court deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Relativity or eDiscovery certification
- Experience with Relativity aIR
- Experience with CaseMap, TextMap, or Microsoft Access
- Trial-support experience
- Graduate degree in a technical discipline
- Experience with specialized litigation databases or applications
- Prior DOJ, federal legal, or law-enforcement support experience.

Candidates must be U.S. citizens, pass the required security pre-screen, and be eligible to obtain and maintain a DOJ Public Trust.
This position is fully onsite at Northeast, Washington, DC. Remote, hybrid, and telework arrangements are not available.
