We’re seeking an enthusiastic, mission‑driven Senior Test & Evaluation Test Design Engineer to join our team supporting Navy Strategic Systems Programs on the fast‑paced Nuclear Sea‑Launched Cruise Missile (SLCM‑N) development effort. In this role, you’ll help shape the future of strategic naval weapon systems through expert test design, modeling, ground testing, fire control evaluation, and nuclear surety support. This position is ideal for an engineer who thrives in complex, high‑stakes environments—someone who brings deep systems understanding, sharp analytical instincts, and an unwavering commitment to the SSP mission.

What You'll Do

  • Test Planning & Design
    • Develop, document, and execute comprehensive test plans, procedures, and reports across the full T&E lifecycle.
    • Translate operational requirements into clear, measurable, and traceable test objectives.
    • Apply structured methodologies to ensure test coverage, technical rigor, and alignment with program requirements.
  • Modeling, Simulation & Predictive Analysis
    • Use modeling and simulation tools to forecast system performance, reliability, and effectiveness under diverse operational conditions.
    • Leverage simulation results to refine test strategies, identify risk areas, and inform decision‑making.
  • Ground & Fire Control Testing
    • Conduct detailed component‑ and subsystem‑level testing to verify compliance with technical specifications.
    • Evaluate performance of Ground and Fire Control elements to ensure readiness for integrated system testing.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field.
  • 5+ years’ experience with Model Based System Engineering MBSE with Cruise Missile Test and Evaluation.
  • 10+ years’ experience in Missile design, Fire Control system integration hardware in a loop, Nuclear Surety, Navy SSP and testing with preference for experience with Cruise Missile Test and Evaluation Design.
  • An active DoD or DoE Security Clearance at the SECRET level or above or have held an active clearance in the past 2 years
  • Strong understanding of missile system architecture, including guidance, navigation, control, and communication subsystems.
  • Experience applying statistical methods and Design of Experiments (DoE) to develop efficient, high‑impact test designs.
  • Familiarity with the DoD acquisition lifecycle and the role of Test & Evaluation in program decision‑making.
