This initiative focuses on fundamentally hardening the CBO’s enterprise environment to reduce the risk of unauthorized lateral movement, credential misuse, and persistence techniques.

Note: This is an advanced engineering scope focused on resolving complex escalations, implementing security architecture, and developing automated workflows. It does not involve routine Tier 1 end-user help desk support.

  • Leads end-to-end execution of endpoint engineering capabilities, including imaging, baseline definition, patch lifecycle, enrollment, telemetry, and remediation.
  • Establishes and governs the engineering lifecycle framework (assessment → design → approval → implementation → validation → continuous improvement) ensuring consistency and auditability.
  • Defines and enforces endpoint architecture standards, including workstation builds, hardening baselines, and compliance controls across Windows and macOS.
  • Ensures availability and accuracy of telemetry required for detection, troubleshooting, and forensics, enabling proactive monitoring and incident response.
  • Governs integration of endpoints into logging, monitoring, and audit ecosystems (SIEM, EDR), ensuring traceability and visibility.
  • Oversee patch engineering and configuration management, including validation, rollback strategies, compliance tracking, and remediation of configuration drift.
  • Drives cross-functional coordination with COR, IAM, SOC, Cybersecurity, and Service Desk to resolve escalations and align operational execution.
  • Ensures strict adherence to formal change control, audit, and security governance processes, including documentation, approvals, and audit readiness.
  • Leads prioritization and resolution of complex engineering issues, ensuring stability, scalability, and compliance of the endpoint environment.

Education

  • Bachelor’s in information technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field (or equivalent professional experience). Advanced certifications in endpoint management, security, or IT service management (e.g., Microsoft, ITIL, CISSP) are preferred.

Qualifications

  • Must be a US Citizen
  • 10 years of experience. Strong experience in endpoint engineering, cybersecurity, workplace services, and enterprise IT operations.
  • Experience managing technical teams and working in regulated or government environments.
