Job Description

BryceTech is seeking a subject matter expert with deep cyber engineering experience to support Department of War's (DoW) prototyping and experimentation efforts.  The ideal SME would have extensive experience supporting major technology programs (>$100 million) leading the design, development, and test of complex, offensive and defensive cyber technologies  

Key responsibilities include: 

  • Technical Authority: Serve as the lead technical authority, shaping and validating the end-to-end system and mission architectures. 

  • Develop and coordinate cyber technology roadmaps

  • Support the planning, coordinating, and execution of a large-scale multi-year demonstration and experimentation campaigns

  • Plan, develop, update, implement, and recommend best practices for technology and program protection

  • Mission Thread and Capability Alignment: Ensure that cyber designs fully support key mission threads, CONOPS, and joint operational requirements  

  • Stakeholder Engagement & Technical Leadership: Lead technical coordination across government, industry, and mission partners, providing clear guidance, decision support, and strategic technical vision

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's in computer science, Information Technology, cybersecurity, or related science or engineering field.  Advanced degree preferred
  • Active Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility (TS/SCI)
  • 15+ years’ experience in project management
  • 10+ years' experience operating in highly classified environments (SCI/SAP)
  • 10+ years' experience valuating and validating sensor system performance, effectiveness, and operational feasibility
  • Experience in research, development, integration, and testing of innovative technologies for both offensive and defensive cyber
  • Relevant industry certification including CISSP, CISM, CISA, CASP+, OSCP, GIAC, CCSP
  • Experience supporting DoW services at senior leadership levels, preferably experience within Pentagon R&D or Acquisition
  • Experience working within or supporting OUSW(R&E), Joint Staff, or Service-level organizations
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
