Job DetailsJob Location: Washington Headquarters - Washington, DC 20237Salary Range: $44.55 - $44.55 Hourly路聽Develop, implement, and manage social media content strategies aligned with broadcasting and organizational goals. 路聽Create, edit, schedule, and publish engaging content across platforms including Facebook, X, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and emerging digital channels. 路聽Collaborate with producers, editors, reporters, and communications teams to promote broadcast programming, special events, and organizational initiatives. 路聽Manage social media calendars and ensure timely delivery of content to support news, programming, and audience engagement objectives. 路聽Monitor social media trends, audience interests, and platform developments to identify opportunities for increased reach and engagement. 路聽Adapts and/or translates content produced in English into native language, as assigned 路聽Versions content produced in native language into English for distribution, as assigned 路聽Participates in the creation and development of regularly scheduled or special radio and/or tv programs and/or web and social media sections, as assigned 路聽Contributes to production elements of programs and content for broadcast and/or web and social media, including fine editing of taped material, as assigned 路聽As assigned, edits and approves copy and content prepared or written by others for broadcast and/or publication for inclusion in his/her assigned stories 路聽Contributes finished products meeting standards to production elements of programs and content for broadcast and/or web and social media, including fine editing of taped material and static and motion graphics, as assigned 路聽Contributes to teamwork, facilitating tasks of teammates, as needed 路聽Meets VOA standards for productivity, quality, and meeting deadlines 路聽Makes suggestions about policy and workflow improvements 路聽Works independently or as a member of a team 路聽Fluency in target language (Korean) (written, spoken) and deep knowledge of the target area, plus the ability to adapt stories into English as assigned, within the time assigned 路聽Logs and conducts data entry and other functions connected with VOA鈥檚 digital asset management system 路聽Other related duties as assigned 聽 Qualifications
