Position Summary:
PBG’s McLean, VA office is seeking experienced frontline leaders to supervise teams supporting our federal customer’s technical operations, records management, and related program-support activities. This role will be responsible for work assignments, employee coaching, quality, productivity, security, customer service, and daily continuity in a high-volume, personally identifiable information-sensitive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
The Team Leader shall be responsible for the following (subject to evolving needs):
- Supervise assigned personnel and organize daily work to meet workload, schedule, quality, accuracy, and customer service requirements.
- Assign and rebalance tasks, monitor backlogs, validate completion, and elevate staffing or production risks.
- Provide hands-on coaching, onboarding support, refresher training, cross-training, and performance feedback.
- Conduct or support first-level quality reviews and ensure errors are corrected promptly and documented.
- Maintain accurate staffing, attendance, production, inventory, training, and issue-tracking records.
- Enforce Internal Controls, Privacy Act and PII requirements, standards of conduct, restricted-area policies, and secure-work practices.
- Coordinate with the Contract Program Support Manager and Deputy Program Support Manager on staffing, performance, employee relations, risks, and customer priorities.
- Support standard operating procedures and workflow updates, process improvement, special projects, surge responses, and authorized overtime.
- Communicate clearly with Government supervisors, contractor leadership, and team members.
- Participate in proposal oral presentations if required by the Government.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or four (4) years of experience managing teams.
- Six (6) years of general office experience.
- Four (4) years of experience using Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, Outlook, and demonstrated customer-service experience.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, manage, assign, delegate, prioritize, and organize workflow duties of a team.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize workload for small teams and demonstrate good organizational skills.
- Ability to effectively and politely interact with the public and provide excellent customer service.
- Ability to analyze, interpret, and apply regulatory material and internal controls.
- Ability to work on-site in Washington, DC and sustain long-term availability.
- Ability to lift and transport up to 45 pounds.
- Proposal-ready resume with complete month/year dates that clearly substantiates every mandatory qualification.
Highly Valued Qualifications:
- Prior experience with the Department of State, records management, scanning and imaging, data integrity, fraud support, or identity-related operations.
- Experience in high-volume, deadline-driven, and PII-sensitive environments.
- Supervisory, quality, records management, Lean Six Sigma, or related training or certification.
- Experience supporting workforce scheduling, production reporting, and continuous improvement.
