We are seeking an accomplished VP of Operations to lead all operational functions and drive the next phase of our growth. Reporting directly to the CEO, the VP OF OPERATIONS will oversee Manufacturing, Engineering, Supply Chain, Production Planning, Quality, Service Operations, and Continuous Improvement, ensuring that every yacht delivered meets the highest standards of luxury, performance, and reliability. This executive will balance strategic leadership with operational execution, building a culture of accountability, collaboration, craftsmanship, and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities Executive Leadership Partner with the CEO to establish and execute the company's strategic vision and long-term growth objectives. Translate strategic initiatives into measurable operational results. Foster a culture centered on safety, quality, innovation, accountability, and teamwork. Lead and develop a high-performing team of operational leaders while building organizational capability and succession plans. Manufacturing Operations Direct all manufacturing operations, including hull fabrication, assembly, outfitting, finishing, testing, commissioning, and delivery. Ensure efficient production while maintaining the exceptional craftsmanship expected in luxury yacht construction. Optimize production schedules, labor utilization, and facility performance. Implement Lean Manufacturing principles while preserving the attention to detail required in custom yacht production. Improve throughput, productivity, and operational efficiency without compromising quality. Engineering Oversee Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, and Product Development teams. Ensure seamless collaboration between engineering, production, procurement, and quality functions. Support design innovation, manufacturability improvements, value engineering, and successful introduction of new yacht models. Drive engineering excellence while maintaining compliance with marine regulations and classification standards. Supply Chain & Procurement Oversee sourcing, procurement, inventory management, logistics, and supplier development. Build strategic supplier partnerships that support quality, innovation, and on-time delivery. Strengthen supply chain resilience while managing costs and material availability. Improve inventory management and working capital efficiency across operations. Quality & Customer Experience Champion a culture of quality throughout the organization. Ensure every yacht meets the company's standards for craftsmanship, fit and finish, performance, and reliability. Partner with Sales, Service, and Customer Experience teams to support flawless customer deliveries and exceptional ownership experiences. Lead warranty reduction and continuous product improvement initiatives. Financial & Operational Performance Develop and manage operational budgets and capital investment plans. Establish KPIs that measure safety, quality, delivery, productivity, cost, and customer satisfaction. Drive operational improvements that increase profitability and support sustainable growth. Provide regular operational and financial updates to the CEO and Board of Directors. QualificationsQualifications Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline. MBA or advanced technical degree preferred Minimum of 15 years of progressive leadership experience within complex manufacturing environments. At least 7 years of executive leadership overseeing multiple operational disciplines. Experience leading manufacturing, engineering, supply chain, quality, and operations organizations. Marine, yacht, shipbuilding, aerospace, luxury automotive, or other high-end engineered product manufacturing experience strongly preferred. Demonstrated success leading operational transformation, organizational growth, and continuous improvement initiatives.
