Jones and Sons is looking to hire a Yard Operator for our Washington, IN location. Started in 1971, we are a family owned and operated business with locations in Bloomfield, Clinton, Linton, Terre Haute, Vincennes and Washington, IN. Our core activities include Ready Mixed Concrete, Block, Brick, Precast Concrete, and Aggregates servicing Southwest Indiana.

Pay:

Standard starting pay is $18/hr but can vary depending on experience
Overtime hours likely March through December

Variety of things you'll do:

Load product on customer vehicles
Operate a forklift
Get orders ready for delivery
Keep yard and product storage rooms clean and organized
Help in precast department as needed
Work in all areas of plant as needed

Requirements:

Help promote a culture of safety
Pass pre-employment and random drug tests
Requires physical dexterity to climb on and off forklift multiple times a day and ability to lift up to 100 pounds.
