Housekeeping Supervisor – ROOST White House (Philadelphia, PA)

Position Summary

ROOST Apartment Hotel is seeking a hands-on, detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to support the daily operations of our housekeeping department at ROOST White House. This role is responsible for ensuring guest rooms and public spaces consistently meet ROOST's high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and service while supporting, training, and motivating a team of Room Attendants and Housepersons.

The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and passionate about hospitality, with a strong eye for detail and a commitment to creating exceptional guest experiences.

Essential Responsibilities

• Supervise and support the daily activities of the housekeeping team, ensuring rooms and public areas are cleaned to ROOST standards.
• Inspect guest rooms, suites, corridors, and public spaces to ensure cleanliness, maintenance, and presentation standards are met.
• Assist in training, coaching, and onboarding housekeeping team members.
• Monitor productivity and quality of work while providing real-time feedback and support.
• Coordinate room status updates with Front Office and Maintenance teams to ensure efficient guest arrivals and departures.
• Assist with scheduling, daily assignments, and labor management.
• Ensure housekeeping carts, storage rooms, and supply areas remain organized and fully stocked.
• Report maintenance issues, safety concerns, and guest requests promptly.
• Handle guest requests and service recovery situations professionally and efficiently.
• Maintain compliance with company policies, safety standards, and sanitation procedures.
• Support deep cleaning projects and special cleaning assignments as needed.
• Lead by example by actively assisting with room cleaning and housekeeping operations during high occupancy periods.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-2 years of housekeeping supervisory experience in a hotel, apartment hotel, luxury residential, or hospitality environment preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lead, motivate, and develop a diverse team.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple priorities.
• Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and move throughout the property for extended periods.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with apartment hotels, boutique hotels, or luxury hospitality brands.
• Knowledge of housekeeping inspection procedures and hotel operations.
• Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.
