Project Description:
Seeking a Live Event Support Technician to support live events at a major DC-area arena (Caps/Wizards/Mystics games, concerts, eSporting events). Role involves Tier 1 IT support and broadcast/A/V assistance, primarily evenings and weekends.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide real-time IT/broadcast support during live events (nights, weekends, holidays)
  • Maintain computer systems, network devices, and broadcast/A/V equipment
  • Test, maintain, and fabricate cables and adapters
  • Set up and support Zoom, Teams, and WebEx conferencing
  • Image and manage endpoints via Intune, AutoPilot, and JAMF Pro
  • Deliver Tier 1 support and document resolutions in ticketing system
  • Build and maintain SOP guides

Mandatory Skills:

  • 3+ years in a Broadcasting/Technical hands-on role
  • Hands-on experience with Windows and Mac OS
  • Working knowledge of network switches, cabling, and IP configuration
  • Understanding of broadcast signal flow (routers, switchers, cameras, RF)
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays; lift up to 50 lbs

Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • CompTIA A+ Certification
  • NetAlly Tool experience
  • Arista switch/router experience
  • 2110 knowledge
