Sonic Summary

This position requires a SECRET security clearance granted by the Department of Defense.
Candidates must have a Master's degree or a Bachelor's degree with 5 years of experience; alternatively, an Associate degree with 10 years or a High School Diploma/GED with 10 years of experience is acceptable.
The minimum educational requirement is a Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics.
Key responsibilities include explaining scientific and technical ideas in simple language, creating technical documentation, and preparing charts and graphs.

Security Clearance:

SECRET position. Personnel must possess a final DoD granted SECRET security clearance

Experience and Degree:

Level II – Junior: Master’s degree; Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of experience; Associate degree with 10 years; High School Diploma/GED with 10 years of experience

Education:

Minimum B.Sc., Aerospace, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics.

Experience:

Shall explain scientific and technical ideas in simple language.
Shall meet with engineers to establish technical specifications.
Shall study technical drawings, specifications, and mockups.
Shall create technical documentation for a variety of audiences.
Shall gather and research information for use in technical documentation.
Shall prepare charts, graphs, or forms to go along with technical documentation
Shall proofread technical documentation.
Shall follow the document development life cycle.
