Position Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionateĀ Infant/Toddler TeacherĀ to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education, strong classroom management skills, and a commitment to cultivate a positive learning environment. This role involves caring for children, implementing curriculum, fostering social-emotional development, and maintaining a nurturing and structured classroom environment.


Responsibilities:

  • Create a nurturing and safe learning environment for children
  • Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote social, emotional, and cognitive development
  • Collaborate with parents and colleagues to ensure a holistic learning experience for each child
  • Foster a love of learning through engaging and interactive lesson plans
  • Supervise and engage with children to promote positive behavior and development.
  • Communicate effectively with parents regarding child progress, concerns, and milestones.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting learning space.
  • Follow all school policies, safety procedures, and licensing regulations.
  • Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and school events


Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Minimum two years of experience working with infants and toddlers in a structured childcare setting
  • Strong understanding of child development and age-appropriate teaching strategies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • CPR and First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
  • Must pass a background check and meet state licensing requirements


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
  • Relevant certifications or qualifications in Early Childhood Education
