The selectee will serve as a Statistician in the Office of Strategy, Planning, and Innovation, Enterprise Analytics Division. Typical work assignments include:

  • Plans and coordinates sensitive quantitative studies providing expert statistical analysis ensuring scientific precision and clear communication of data to support agency-wide decisions.
  • Collects and analyzes data, interpreting results and developing recommendations to provide insight to support decision-making.
  • Leads the development and enhancement of data collection systems and analytic tools and creates specialized reports to support making informed decisions.
  • Conducts advanced statistical studies, ensuring data accuracy and resolving issues in data collection and analysis.
  • Prepares correspondence and briefings for varied audiences and represents the agency at interagency forums.
