The selectee will serve as a Statistician in the Office of Strategy, Planning, and Innovation, Enterprise Analytics Division. Typical work assignments include:

Plans and coordinates sensitive quantitative studies providing expert statistical analysis ensuring scientific precision and clear communication of data to support agency-wide decisions.
Collects and analyzes data, interpreting results and developing recommendations to provide insight to support decision-making.
Leads the development and enhancement of data collection systems and analytic tools and creates specialized reports to support making informed decisions.
Conducts advanced statistical studies, ensuring data accuracy and resolving issues in data collection and analysis.
Prepares correspondence and briefings for varied audiences and represents the agency at interagency forums.
