POSITION SUMMARY: Working in the Office of Student Accounts and reporting to the Associate Director and Team Lead, the position is responsible for working with all active and inactive students as it relates to the tuition process for Post University’s American Sentinel College of Nursing. The position will support the Lead in meeting the highest service standards. Additionally, they will proactively provide excellent customer service to students and utilize problem-solving skills to promote success and retention.
The position is also responsible for all Student Accounts administrative tasks, including but not limited to collections, payment plans, account adjustments, billing, invoicing, and data entry. The position provides resolutions to meet tuition obligations while maintaining compliance with all internal and federal financial aid policies. 
Essential Accountabilities: 
- Regularly audit and adjust billing files to ensure accuracy and compliance with institutional policies
- Reviews and posts tuition and fees to the ledger
- Possesses knowledge of applicable policies, procedures, regulations, and laws to ensure compliance.
- Promptly responds to customer service issues and concerns.
- Performs all data entry for student accounts, including entering comments to the students' records.
- Works closely with all departments to assist students with their financing and advising needs.
Responsibilities as Required: 
- Communicates with new, continuing, and inactive students on payment completion requirements.
- Prepares payment plans for tuition and fees.
- Contacts students to collect outstanding balance requirements.
- Reviews and processes credit balancesÂ
- Translate data into actionable insights for decision-making by Student Accounts leadership
- Posts payments received from third-party vendors
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications: 
- A bachelor’s degree is preferred, and/or one to two years of customer service experience is required.
- Must have excellent computer skills and be proficient in Microsoft Office, internet applications, and database software.
- Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Must be a self-starter with the ability to multitask.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Must be able to work in a team-oriented environment.
- Must be energetic and goal-driven; strong interest in working in a fast-paced environment.
