Monday - Friday: 10 hour shifts/30 hours/week.  Benefit eligible. 

Friendly and busy multispecialty Ambulatory Surgery Center looking for OR Circulator with minimum 1-2 years experience. Scrub experience a plus. Services include Ortho, Ophthalmology, Urology, ENT, Urology, Podiatry, Plastics and Pain. Teamwork and flexibility a must. Come be part of a team where everyone is respected and welcomed! 



Requirements

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

  1. Current state nursing license.
  2. Current ACLS/BLS/PALS certification required. Must be obtained within 90 days of hire. 
  3. Required to successfully complete annual facility-wide competencies.
  4. Demonstrated interpersonal communication skills.
  5. Prior knowledge of surgical instrumentation and peri-operative equipment or ability to learn same.
  6. Requires prolonged periods of standing and walking.
  7. Requires ability to perform lifting and transport of patients; and lifting of instrument trays and equipment weighing up to 40 pounds.
  8. Ability to work with a minimum of supervision and to organize work in order of importance.
  9. Ability to work effectively in stressful situations and in a variety of peri-operative environments.
  10. Requires manual dexterity to operate equipment and handle instrumentation, hearing to understand verbal instructions and near vision to distinguish supplies and instrumentation.
