A busy multi-specialty surgical center is seeking a GI tech to work in procedure rooms with gastroenterologists from Monday to Friday, with no weekends, holidays, or call required.
The position requires experience with GI procedures, including assisting the MD, positioning, collecting specimens, documentation, and scope cleaning per national standards.
Candidates with additional surgical technologist or sterile processing experience will be considered a plus.
Applicants must possess a Flexible Endoscope Reprocessor Certification or Central Sterile Processing Certification.
The work schedule is from 6:30 am to 2:30 pm, and a flexible, team-oriented approach is essential in this fast-paced environment.

Description

MONDAY-FRIDAY/NO WEEKENDS, HOLIDAYS OR CALL!! 6:30am - 2:30pm. Busy Multi-specialty Surgical Center seeking GI tech to work in Procedure Rooms with Gastroenterologists. Experience with GI Procedures including, but not limited to positioning, assisting MD in procedure, collecting specimens, documentation and scope cleaning adhering to national standards. ADDITIONAL SURGICAL TECHNOLOGIST AND/OR STERILE PROCESSING EXPERIENCE A PLUS! Must be a team player, flexible, and able to work in a fast paced environment. Flexible Endoscope Reprocessor Certification or Central Sterile Processing Certification required.
