Surface Operations - 7030 Operator B-Heavy Equip Op (Temporary Position) 

Job Title: Heavy Equipment Operator 

Location: Waterflow, New Mexico

We are seeking an experienced, skilled and reliable Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will safely operate, maintain, and inspect various heavy machinery to support reclamation of San Juan Mine. This role requires attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate heavy machinery including excavators, bulldozers, loaders, graders, and forklifts.

• Perform daily inspections and routine maintenance on equipment to ensure safe operation.

• Follow project plans and instructions from supervisors to complete tasks efficiently.

• Adhere to all safety regulations and maintain a clean, organized worksite.

• Communicate effectively with team members and report any equipment malfunctions or hazards.

Qualifications:

• Experience with Dozers, D11, D10, Candidates must be skilled in building and maintaining proper road crown, slope control, drainage management, and safe material handling. 
• MSHA Certification 

• Strong knowledge of safety protocols and industry best practices.

• Affective Communicator

• Physical stamina and the ability to work outdoors in varying conditions.
