  • We are seeking a motivated field service engineer to provide onsite support to our customers.
  • The position requires a salary of $70,000 to $90,000 per year and a minimum of 3 years of experience in mechanical and electropneumatic systems.
  • Responsibilities include diagnosing and troubleshooting installation heads, fastener feeders, and electropneumatic kits, as well as installing and validating new systems.
  • The candidate must possess strong interpersonal skills for effective communication, and experience in tool & die is beneficial but not mandatory.
  • Travel is required 25-50% of the time, primarily within a 3-hour distance from home, with occasional multi-day visits.

We are looking for a motivated field service engineer to support our customers onsite. The goal is to provide top notch support to the local customers. PROFIL specializes in mechanically attached fasteners (MAF) both in die (Transfer & Progressive) and Manual operations (C- frame & Hand load cell).

 

Qualifications

Responsibilities:

Support the customer professionally and effectively for planned and unplanned visits.

Diagnose & troubleshoot issues with installation heads, fastener feeders, and electropneumatic kits (in-die & manual operations).

Install and validate new systems on customer floor and at local tool shops following the buyoff procedure and documentation.

Cooperate with team providing feedback for improvement opportunities and lessons learned.

Provide training on-site and VIA internet for new and existing customers.

Create and share service reports explaining visit information in a timely manner.

Skills & Qualifications:

Proven competency in mechanical and electropneumatic systems (simple and complex).

Basic practical knowledge of HMI/PLC (Allen Bradley & Siemens).

Strong interpersonal skills are required for communicating with the team and the customer.

Experience in tool & die (Presses & Dies) is beneficial but not required.

Good verbal and written skills are highly sought VIA Microsoft tools (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams)

 

Transportation: This position requires travel 25-50% of the time to customers in the surrounding states. In most cases the distance is within 3 hours of home. Occasional multi-day visits are required
