We are seeking a Cardiac Sonographer II to provide high-quality diagnostic patient care services using ultrasound and related imaging equipment. This role requires independent judgment, technical expertise, and initiative to perform a wide range of complex diagnostic procedures in accordance with clinical standards, applicable laws, and demonstrated competency.

Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations for adult inpatient and outpatient populations in accordance with established policies and procedures.
Utilize advanced sonographic skills and independent judgment to obtain accurate diagnostic images and identify normal and abnormal findings.
Analyze sonographic information, prepare preliminary reports, and communicate findings to physicians as needed.
Coordinate daily workflow and scheduling to support efficient department operations and patient care coverage.
Ensure patient safety, comfort, and quality care throughout all examinations.
Complete clerical and billing processes accurately and maintain required documentation.
Troubleshoot malfunctioning equipment, perform minor maintenance, and coordinate repair service when necessary.

Qualifications

Education:

Graduate of an accredited cardiac sonography program.

Experience:

Minimum of one (1) year experience in specialty field, i.e., vascular diagnostics or echocardiography. Current registry in either cardiac and/or vascular sonography through the ARDMS/CCI.
Preferred: TEE experience, Pediatric echo experience or certification

License/Certifications:

BCLS
Valid driver’s license when driving any vehicle for work-related reasons
