Job Description
As a Project One Bike Painter at Trek Bikes, you will play a crucial role in the production processes for our manufacturing, responsible for applying high-quality custom paint schemes to our bicycles. You will collaborate with a dynamic team of artists and designers to deliver unique customized bicycles to our customers. We are looking for individuals who are detail oriented, have a passion for painting, andĀ creatingĀ works of art. You do not need to have prior bicycle painting experience. This positionĀ provides an excellent opportunity for individualsĀ who are eager to learn, grow, and make a meaningful impactĀ inĀ our manufacturing department.Ā

WhatĀ youāllĀ experience on the job:Ā
Conduct thorough inspections to ensureĀ paintĀ finishes meet Trek's high-quality standards.Ā
Prepare bike frames for painting by buffing, cleaning, andĀ primingĀ as necessary.Ā
Mix paint colors toĀ designatedĀ specifications.Ā
Paint custom Project One signature frames following specified bike schemes.Ā
Provide exceptional quality painted frames and forksĀ
Able to work independently on multiple framesĀ

What you'll bring to the team:
Monday to Friday (Overtime as needed on the weekends)Ā
1st shiftĀ (8 hour-shifts)Ā
AbilityĀ to doĀ paintĀ gun/airbrush maintenance preferred but notĀ required!Ā
High end custom paint application knowledgeĀ
Respirator isĀ requiredĀ when paintingĀ
Able toĀ lift upĀ to 50Ā lbsĀ
Ability to stand and use hand tools for extended periods of time.Ā
