Job Description

Trek is seeking an energetic Software Engineer III for a variety of functions. This role will partner with our Software Development Managers and assist in the multiple programs we run globally as well as communication internally. In addition to those tasks, collaboration with the different teams will be vital in this role. Strong organization, time management, attention to detail, and a “get stuff done” attitude will make anyone in this role wildly successful!


Key Responsibilities:

Responsible for analyzing, building testing software solutions in the following technologies

  • Java
  • Spring
  • Hybris

Provides technical advice to the development team and business customers on solutions.

  • Communicate as a technical source of truth in meetings with business partners
  • Provide insights and collaborate with the development team on solutioning implementation of key business objectives
  • Assist with mentoring and guiding junior developers in technical implementation
  • Work closely with Architecture to inform and communicate key architectural direction to the development teams

Participates in the development of development standards and team processes using knowledge on the business needs and requirements.

  • Maintain coding standards using tools such as Sonar and Agentic AI scanning
  • Review peers code to ensure development quality consistency
  • Inform and assist with setting of development standards across development teams

Provide timely and comprehensive support to outside business partners and internal departments

Skills and Qualifications:

Must Have:

  • Java Spring application development experience
  • Professional Experience with multiple programming languages and techniques such as
    • Restful web services
    • Oauth2 flows
    • Third party integrations
  • Strong knowledge in source control using Git and release management in the software development lifecycle
  • Knowledge of Linux systems, containerization and automation Experience using CI/CD tools such as Jenkins
  • An AI-Forward approach to software development

Good to have:

  • SAP Commerce Cloud / Hybris experience
  • SQL Database experience
  • Azure Cloud systems experience
