Under the direction of the Administrator-Long Term Care, provides daily clerical and administrative support assuring the Administrative office is maintained in a smooth-running, efficient manner. Represents the office to the public in the absence of the Administrator. Provides support to LTC Nursing Management, Activities, and Social Work.

Qualifications
EDUCATION:
Preferred:
• Two year degree with emphasis in business office practice highly desirable.
• Bachelor's Degree


LICENSE:

PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATIONS:

WORK EXPERIENCE:
Minimum:
• Three years' high level secretarial experience
Preferred:
• Prior healthcare experience


SKILLS:
Minimum:
• Must be able to type 50-60 WPM
• Self motivate
• able to work without close supervision.
• Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion and ability to deal with the public in a professional and courteous manner.
• Ability to meet deadlines, manage multiple priorities and enhance the spirit of teamwork through effective role modeling.
• Computer literacy required
Preferred:
• Knowledge of Long Term Care practices.
• Experience with Microsoft Office products including word, excel and power point
