About the Role:
Northside Auto in Watertown, WI is looking for a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team! This is a great opportunity to bring your mechanical expertise to a shop that values quality work and takes pride in keeping customers on the road. Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic testing on vehicles to identify mechanical and electrical issues
- Conduct routine maintenance including oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid services
- Repair and replace brakes, suspension, steering, and drivetrain components
- Diagnose and repair engine, transmission, and exhaust systems
- Utilize shop equipment and diagnostic tools such as OBD scanners and lifts
- Document repair orders and communicate findings clearly to service advisors
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
Requirements:
- Prior experience as an automotive technician or mechanic required
- ASE certification(s) preferred but not required
- Proficiency in vehicle diagnostics and general auto repair
- Ability to work on a variety of domestic and foreign vehicle makes and models
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Must provide own basic hand tools
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship
