Job Knowledge and Comprehension: Triage and/or identify critically ill clients seeking addiction and mental health services for Behavioral Health staff. Perform cashiering and clerical duties with minimal supervision. Schedule and confirm appointments; coordinate calendars; prepare, collate, and mail appointment notices; and collect fees. Maintain appropriate safeguards and regulate access to client information to ensure confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA and ePHI requirements. Maintain competency in new and evolving technologies and job-related systems (e.g., software, equipment). Demonstrate the ability to de-escalate challenging situations and appropriately resolve or refer concerns. Work independently with minimal supervision. Demonstrate proficiency with computer applications and the ability to learn new software systems. Perform other duties as assigned consistent with non-exempt responsibilities. Physical Requirements: This position requires the ability to sit for extended periods of time and perform repetitive computer work. Occasional light physical effort is required, including lifting up to 10 lbs., and rarely up to 25 lbs. The role requires frequent use of hands and arms for reaching and computer work. May require occasional driving.  QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent. Strong interpersonal skills. Ability to communicate with a diverse group of clientele. Ability to type 45 –50 words per minute. Working knowledge of computer applications and electronic files.
