Watertown, SD

Join our team at Terex Utilities and embark on an exciting opportunity as we seek a skilled and dedicated Tester Lead to contribute to the Terex team in Watertown, SD.

What you’ll do

  • Adhere to Terex safety policies and procedures
  • Assemble electrical, mechanical and/or hydraulic equipment
  • Read and interpret diagrams, work orders and reports to assemble materials
  • Perform repetitive assembly and adjustment on units, using tools
  • Clean parts, test functional performance, and pack finished products for shipment
  • Follow and promote The Terex Way Values
  • Compliance with all applicable occupational health and safety required
  • Function as a team member and contribute to group goals while maintaining a positive attitude
  • Perform other functions as needed

What you’ll bring

  • High school diploma and/or equivalent

  • 3+ years of electrical, mechanical, and/or hydraulic equipment experience
  • Ability to lift 40 lbs. or lift 40-100 lbs. with assistance of others and lifting equipment provided
  • Possess good mechanical aptitude.
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints, order acknowledgement, engineering drawings and written instructions.
  • Understand and follow verbal and written instructions
  • Able to use hand tools.
  • Basic welding skills.
  • Knowledge of hydraulic systems
  • Basic computer skills

The compensation range for this position is $21.50-$23.50 per hour. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc.
