Watertown sits at the edge of Lake Ontario, a short drive from Syracuse, with access to outdoor recreation, a welcoming community, and modern healthcare facilities. Working here means exposure to a range of clinical scenarios in a supportive setting, building confidence in nutrition assessment, therapy planning, and patient education. If you enjoy broader exploration, the program also offers placements across the United States, letting you broaden your professional scope while maintaining a predictable schedule and 40 guaranteed hours per week. Housing resources, local transit, and community amenities help you settle quickly, giving you time to enjoy parks, festivals, and weekend escapes to nearby natural attractions.
Role specifics and benefits: As a clinical dietitian, you will perform nutrition assessments, develop and monitor medical nutrition therapy for a spectrum of conditions—diabetes, renal disease, oncology, GI disorders, malnutrition, and critical illness. You’ll participate in rounds, collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, and educate patients and families to improve intake, adherence, and outcomes. Responsibilities include charting in the electronic health record, nutrition screening, care plan adjustments, and coordination of enteral and parenteral nutrition within your scope. You’ll have opportunities to deepen expertise in clinical nutrition, pursue roles on nutrition support teams, or focus on high-need populations while maintaining travel flexibility. Benefits include competitive weekly pay between $1,789 and $1,963, plus a sign-on bonus and housing assistance to ease relocation. Extension opportunities let you lengthen assignments based on performance and patient needs. You’ll receive 24/7 support from our travel team, ensuring you’re never alone when navigating new facilities, policies, or schedules. A guaranteed 40 hours per week provides stability amid the travel pace, and ongoing professional development, mentorship, and access to the latest nutrition care protocols help you grow.
Throughout your journey, the company’s commitment to empowering staff shines through: the organization offers clear career paths, regular feedback, and a supportive culture that prioritizes work-life balance, resilience, and professional advancement. You’ll work in an environment that respects your expertise, encourages collaboration, and promotes evidence-based practice and continuous improvement in clinical nutrition.
