Role specifics and benefits: As a clinical dietitian, you will perform nutrition assessments, develop and monitor medical nutrition therapy for a spectrum of conditions—diabetes, renal disease, oncology, GI disorders, malnutrition, and critical illness. You’ll participate in rounds, collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, and educate patients and families to improve intake, adherence, and outcomes. Responsibilities include charting in the electronic health record, nutrition screening, care plan adjustments, and coordination of enteral and parenteral nutrition within your scope.
