Upholstery Sewer - Pivotal Health Solutions

Pivotal Health Solutions is seeking an Upholstery Sewer to join our team.  In this role, you will be responsible for the fabrication, repair, and restoration of furniture, cushions, and other upholstered products. The Upholsterer works with a variety of textiles such as vinyl, leather, and fabric, ensuring that the end product meets company standards for appearance, quality, and durability. Attention to detail, the ability to follow design patterns, and a strong understanding of upholstery techniques are key in this role.

Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Layout and cut vinyl fabric
• Sew vinyl and miscellaneous fabrics
• Help design sewing patterns
• Maintain clean and organized work area
• Maintain sewing machine maintenance
• Document actions by completing production and quality forms
• Utilize Kanban system to restock depleted materials.
• Performs other duties as assigned

Job Qualifications 

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Sewing experience with textiles including vinyl, leather and fabric
• Previous upholstery experience strongly preferred
• Vinyl pattern layout and cutting experience
• Ability to build defect-free products that meet quality standards
• Build products within time standards
• Adhere to safety standards and requirements
