Crusher Plant Operator

Heidelberg Materials NE LLC is seeking a skilled Crusher Plant Operator to oversee the safe and efficient operation of our crushing equipment, ensuring the production of aggregate materials meets quality and production targets.

Responsibilities:**
* Operate and monitor all crushing plant machinery, including crushers, screens, conveyors, and related equipment.
* Conduct pre-operation checks, routine inspections, and basic maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance and identify potential issues.
* Adjust crusher settings and screen sizes to achieve desired material specifications and production rates.
* Load and unload materials using heavy equipment such as excavators or loaders as needed.
* Monitor aggregate stockpiles and coordinate material flow to maintain continuous operation.
* Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
* Maintain accurate production logs, maintenance records, and other required documentation.
* Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
* Troubleshoot operational issues and perform minor repairs to minimize downtime.
* Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Qualifications:**
* High school diploma or equivalent.
* Ability to perform basic mechanical troubleshooting and maintenance.
* Must be able to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
* Excellent observational skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to lift heavy objects, climb stairs, and work in various weather conditions.
* Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
* Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
