Job DetailsJob Location: Dakota Bodies Watertown - Watertown, SD 57201Job Shift: DayA welding supervisor will coordinate each welder on the projects, monitor the progress of the operations, and ensure the safety of all workers. He or she must also inspect the finished product to ensure it is built properly and safely. The supervisor embodies a strong work ethic, positive attitude, good communication skills, can adapt to new environments, is safety driven and can lead & coach a team. Essential Job Functions: Lead a Team in a positive manner Ability to train on all job functions, blueprint readings and use of tools and welders. Meeting Schedules and Expectations Training of all team members Monitoring key competencies including but not limited to productivity, quality, and safety of all team members. Troubleshoots issues that arise. Performs other related duties as assigned. Required Skills/Abilities: Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software to complete reports and logs.  QualificationsEducation and Experience: 2-5 years supervisory experience Experience with MIG welding Experience with manual welding equipment Ability to read blueprints Good computers skills Excellent Communication skills Proficient in conflict resolution Ability to follow direction and create a plan
