NURSE AIDE CLINICAL INSTRUCTOR (LPN)

A Licensed Practical Nurse assigned to assist the registered professional Nurse with the supervised clinical training period of the Nursing Home’s Nurse Aide training program. This person has the responsibility for assisting the Registered Professional Nurse with the clinical training in accordance with the facility’s policies and procedures, and state and federal requirements.

Student clinical evaluations will be determined via the LPN in collaboration with the Registered Professional Nurse.

Job Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement:

Graduate from a school of Practical nursing with current NYS LPNlicense...

Minimum Experience Requirement:

Must have at least 2 years of experiences within a Long Term Care Facility.   Proficiency in delivery of resident care and Demonstration of effective communication skills are required.

Minimum License Requirement:

Current NYS LPN license.
