Job DetailsJob Location: Shakers Hyundai - Watertown, CT 06795 Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards Accurately record time on the job using the methods provided by the dealership. Diagnose cause of malfunction and document technician repairs with written notes on the repair order hard copy Examine the vehicle to determine if additional safety or service work is required. Maintain knowledge of automotive systems and the ability to explain systems and repairs to others Understand and follow federal, state and local regulations, such as those governing the disposal of hazardous waste Ensure work area is kept neat and clean and be able to account for all dealership-owned tools  Attend factory and dealership training classes whether it’s required in person or virtually Complete multi point inspection using TruVideo Advise Service Advisor immediately if additional work is needed, if work outlined is not needed, or if repairs cannot be completed within the time promised Ensure customers vehicle is kept clean Keep the Parts Department up to date with any parts needed to complete repairs, according to dealership procedures Conduct final inspection on all vehicles Utilize any and all programs, computers and applications required for the purpose of documentation and/or communication, according to dealership and factory procedures   Qualifications Excellent communication and documentation skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to more than 25 pounds Ability and desire to diagnose and repair vehicles correctly, the first time Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment Maintain “Fixed Right First Time” (FRFT) scores, to be at or above district level Interest in reading and understanding service manuals and technical bulletins
