Job DetailsJob Location: Waterville Valley, NH 03215Position Type: Full TimeJOB PURPOSE: Lead the electrical team in performing all installations of electrical systems and all construction or other work involving electrical services and data services, which include but is not limited to ski lift infrastructure, snowmaking infrastructure and building utilities. SCOPE: The Electrical Maintenance Supervisor works within the Facilities department and leads the electrical team in performing all installations of electrical systems and all construction or other work involving electrical services and data services; following procedures and schedules for routine inspection and preventive maintenance of all electrical services; anticipating problems and solving problems preventing waste in the use of electricity; maintaining of electrical parts and inventory. The electrical maintenance supervisor may work on electrical systems in buildings, ski lifts, snowmaking systems or in exterior infrastructure. The supervisor will work in the outdoors and sometimes at heights. May assist within multiple mountain operation departments including lift maintenance, buildings and grounds, mountain operations and construction. The electrical maintenance supervisor may also be asked to assist with other utility needs within the business including restaurant equipment, HVAC equipment, and other necessary services. ESSENTIAL DUTIES Electrical, low voltage and data maintenance and installation in a variety of settings. Maintain the work area – clean, safe and organized. Load and unload material and tools from transport vehicles. Execute daily maintenance and installation tasks received from the Assistant Director of Operations and complete the tasks in a timely manner. Work effectively with other team members to meet or exceed productivity goals while maintaining a high-quality standard. May perform other inter-disciplinary functions as assigned helping to job-share in other areas of the Resort based on variable business operating schedules. Develop professional skills. Participate in continuous professional development; set and maintain expectation that a high standard of fitness, appearance, and hygiene must be adhered to by staff. Ensure health and safety procedures. Learn and follow established health and safety procedures. Contribute to team effort. Participate in job sharing; assume responsibility as a team member for the cleanliness of the Resort and safety of guests and staff; participate in safety meetings; accept diverse assignments; maintain a positive, helpful, and friendly attitude with guests and other staff. SKILLS: Strong work ethic and self-motivated Supervisory or managerial skills Ability to respond quickly to sudden, unexpected events. Ability to work outdoors in extreme weather Ability to operate an off-road vehicle. PREREQUISITES FOR THE JOB/QUALIFICATIONS: High School diploma. Experience in electrical work as an apprentice or journeyman or certificate in electrical from a trade school. Background with ski lifts or similar equipment helpful. Valid US driver’s license.
