Job DetailsJob Location: Watford City, ND 58854Position Type: Full TimeEducation Level: 4 Year DegreePosition Title: Intraoperative Registered Nurse Full Time Position Overview: The interoperative Registered Nurse (RN) provides direct and individualized nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures. This role is responsible for ensuring patient safety and optimal outcomes during the intraoperative phase of perioperative care. The RN collaborates with surgeons, anesthesiologists, surgical technologists, and other members of the OR team to deliver high quality, evidence-based care. Duties and Responsibilities: Prepares the operating room with necessary equipment, supplies, and instruments. Maintains a sterile field and adheres to all aseptic techniques. Monitors the patient’s condition throughout the surgical procedure, including vital signs and overall well-being. Serves as a circulating nurse, facilitating communication between the surgical team and other departments. Documents all intraoperative activities and patient responses accurately and timely. Ensures compliance with safety protocols and infection control standards. Responds to emergencies and rapidly changing situations in the OR. Supports patients emotionally and physically in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.  Performs other duties as assigned. Must be able to communicate effectively and collaborate compatibly with all physicians. Education and Experience: Minimum Requirements Include graduation from an accredited school of nursing. ASN required, BSN/MSN preferred. 2 years of experience working in the perioperative setting (pre-operative department, post anesthesia care unit, operating room, interventional radiology. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) documentation Licenses and Certifications: Active and unencumbered North Dakota RN license Certified Perioperative Nurse (CNOR) preferred. BLS, ACLS, and PALS certified.
