Omya is seeking a skilled Mechanical/Electrical Technician to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain critical plant equipment that supports safe, efficient, and high-quality production operations. • Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Maintain and optimize production equipment to minimize downtime.
• Read and interpret electrical diagrams, blueprints, and mechanical drawings.
• Perform equipment inspections, rebuilds, retrofits, and preventive maintenance.
• Support process instrumentation, drives, and control systems.
• Document maintenance activities and maintain accurate records.
• Train and support team members on equipment operation and safety procedures.
• Follow all plant safety and environmental standards.

• Associate Degree in Electrical/Electronics or equivalent industrial maintenance experience.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with industrial equipment, motors, hydraulics, pneumatics, and process controls.
• Ability to read electrical and mechanical schematics.
• Strong computer and documentation skills.

• 4+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Welding, pipefitting, millwright, or fabrication experience.
• Experience with instrumentation, VFDs, and manufacturing process equipment.

• Manufacturing plant environment.
• Frequent walking, climbing, lifting, and equipment repair activities.
• Occasional lifting up to 100 pounds.
• On-call availability for emergency maintenance support, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
