The Role
The Nurse Educator is responsible for the coordination of educational programs for the hospital and resident home employees. This role has some autonomy and will partner with hospital leadership to develop quality educational programs and lead hospital and department specific education that supports patient care standards and nursing practice. The Nurse Educator is responsible for development of policies, procedures, and education plans that are in compliance with standards of practice ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality care throughout the organization.

We are seeking a visionary nurse who has a passion for education and is a collaborative team builder and an effective communicator. The Nurse Educator should have strong verbal and written communication skills and be proficient with creating training modules and presenting to groups.
The ideal candidate possesses:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
Licensure: A current Illinois nursing license in good standing.
Experience: Experience working as a direct acre provider in a hospital setting preferred
