Watsonville - FOH - Cashier

Your Role:
As the Cashier at Angry Chickz, you are the first point of contact for our customers. You'll play a pivotal role in shaping their dining experience by offering a warm welcome, guiding them through our menu, and ensuring a swift and accurate transaction.

Responsibilities:

• Warmly greet customers and provide them with menu details or any promotional information.
• Accurately take orders, ensuring special requests or dietary needs are communicated to the kitchen team.
• Handle cash and card transactions, ensuring all cash is accounted for and registers balance at the end of your shift.
• Address customer inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally.
• Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the front counter area.
• Collaborate with the FOH team to ensure seamless operations and a positive customer experience
• Bag and wrap to-go orders
• Performs other related duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service.
• Ability to handle money accurately and responsibly.
• Capability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to work different shifts, including weekends.
• Prior cashier or customer service experience is a plus.

Work Attire: Wear Angry Chickz uniform as well as non-slip shoes required by safety department.

Language Ability: Able to speak clearly and comprehend directions in English.  Able to read English.  Ability to read/speak Spanish is extremely helpful but not mandatory.

Physical Demands:

• Occasionally required to lift and carry up to 40 pounds
• Repetitive hand use
