Qualifications:

Passion for math and helping others
Ability to work on a team
Eagerness to learn
Exceptional math competency through at least Algebra I
Ability to balance various ongoing tasks
Available a minimum of 8 hours per week during instruction hours
16 years or older

Availability year round (Please note: This is not a summer only position. All applicants must be available during the school year as well)

All applicants will be required to take a math literacy test to demonstrate math proficiency, provide work authorization, and pass a background check.

Job Responsibilities:

Teach/tutor in-center using the Mathnasium Method™, terminology, and teaching practices as learned during training
Work collaboratively with team members to deliver individualized instruction in a group setting
Assess students’ understanding and engagement throughout instructional sessions
Become proficient with various daily processes

If you are hired to work at a center, the franchisee will be your employer, not Mathnasium.

Compensation: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour
