Key ResponsibilitiesÂ
Transportation & LogisticsÂ
- Follow scheduled routing procedures efficientlyÂ
- Drive Salvation Army truck for pickups and deliveriesÂ
- Ensure security and safe handling of all goods and materialsÂ
- Perform daily pre and post-trip inspections of vehiclesÂ
- Maintain equipment in excellent working orderÂ
- Comply with all DOT and OSHA regulationsÂ
Customer ServiceÂ
- Act as a personal representative of The Salvation ArmyÂ
- Ensure all donors are treated courteously and respectfullyÂ
- Communicate donation acceptance policy with donorsÂ
- Report any pickup problems to dispatcherÂ
- Maintain professional appearance per ARC dress codeÂ
Operations SupportÂ
- Use DSS program and assigned iPad apps effectivelyÂ
- Support beneficiaries in work therapy goals through training and mentoringÂ
- Handle loading and unloading of trucks as neededÂ
- Wear all assigned PPE including gloves, masks, and back guardÂ
- Report any safety or security concerns immediatelyÂ
QualificationsÂ
Education & ExperienceÂ
- High School Degree or equivalentÂ
- At least two years licensed driving experienceÂ
- Must pass pre-employment DOT screen, drug test, and background checkÂ
Skills & AbilitiesÂ
- Strong communication skills in EnglishÂ
- Basic computer skills including payroll systemÂ
- Proficiency with mobile applicationsÂ
- Basic math skillsÂ
- Excellent manual dexterityÂ
- Professional demeanor and customer service orientationÂ
Required CertificationsÂ
- Valid Driver's LicenseÂ
- Clear MVR reportÂ
- Successful completion of required testingÂ

Join our team in "Doing the Most Good" as a Production Assistant/Driver at our Adult Rehabilitation Center. We're seeking a professional and courteous driver to transport materials to and from specified destinations. This role is essential in representing The Salvation Army while providing exceptional service to our donors and maintaining efficient operations.Â

Pay Rate:Â $18.00 per hour
Status: Full Time, 40 Hours per WeekÂ
Hours: 7:30am -4:00pm
