Description

 A.L. Hansen Mfg. Co., an ISO 9001 certified company, is a leading manufacturer in the commercial hardware industry located in Waukegan is currently seeking a full time Warehouse Supervisor.   


 To lead and develop the warehouse and receiving teams,including material handlers and scale operators, ensuring peak operational efficiency, inventory accuracy, and the seamless flow of materials to support production targets 

Requirements

  1. Coordinate material moves in and out of stock area for use in the production areas.
  2. Process and print move tickets using pick lists.
  3. Review work performed in all warehouse areas ensuring accuracy of work.
  4. Schedule and distribute workloads to warehouse and receiving material handlers to ensure that material  is pulled and distributed to production on a timely basis.
  5. Communicate with production if there are any changes to the schedule.
  6. Move finish goods material from shipping to finish goods racks.
  7. Move materials in and out of QC hold area.
  8. Follow OSHA and ALH safety standards.
  9. Other duties as assigned.

Required skills, licences, knowledge, experience or abilities:

  1. Knowledge of inventory control process.
  2. High level of attention to detail for proper documentation to maintain accurate inventory counts.
  3. Must be able to obtain license for forklift.
  4. Proficient with computers to reference inventory counts.
  5. Ability to use and operate handcarts, pallet jacks, and order pickers.
