The Position: 

The IT Applications Systems Analyst is an entry- to mid-level professional responsible for supporting operations of the organization's business applications. This role assists in resolving application issues, performing configuration changes, documenting processes, and supporting end users. The Analyst collaborates with senior analysts and business stakeholders to learn and apply system best practices that improve business efficiency and system performance.

  • Provide first- and second-level support for assigned business applications, including troubleshooting and resolving user issues.

  • Assist with documenting requirements, workflows, and functional specifications.

  • Perform basic system configuration, data updates, and testing activities.

  • Work with vendors or senior analysts to coordinate software updates, patches, and enhancements.

  • Develop user documentation and assist with training efforts.

  • Participate in change, incident, and request management processes.

  • Maintain data integrity through routine audits and error correction.

  • Support integration and testing of new modules or functionality.

  • Occasional travel to plant sites may be required for support (~ 10%)

  • Some after-hours support may be required for support or system changes

 

Requirements: 

Education:

  • Degree in Information Systems (Bachelors or Associates), Computer Science, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience:

  • 2-4 years of experience supporting business applications, help desk, or IT systems.

  • Basic understanding of databases, reporting tools, and data structures.

  • Exposure to project or system lifecycle processes (requirements, testing, deployment).

Preferred:

  • Familiarity with SQL or data query tools.

  • Experience with enterprise systems (e.g., ERP, CRM, Point of Sale (POS)).

  • Understanding of ITIL or IT service management principles.
