THE ROLE:              Manufacturing Supervisor – 2nd Shift

 

LOCATION:              Waukesha, WI

REPORTS TO:        Plant Manager

POSITION TYPE:    Full-time, exempt

SCHEDULE:            4 – 10-hour days, may vary based upon production/demand

 

OUR OPPORTUNITY:

The Manufacturing Supervisor will oversee our 2nd shift powder coat paint line, welding and fabrication teams. They will ensure the production of company products at the highest quality at the lowest possible cost, meeting company performance standards and customer specifications and delivery requirement, in accordance with company policies and procedures.

 

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Prioritize, schedule, and delegate work assignments.
  • Establish or adjust work procedures to meet production schedules.
  • Interpret specifications, blueprints, and job orders to associates and assign duties.
  • Act as a technical resource to address and resolve inquiries and problems.
  • Document and assure compliance with all safety, HR Policy, and reporting requirements.
  • Coach employees, manage performance and create a culture of high engagement.

 

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain or related field, or equivalent relevant work experience in lieu of degree.
  • Minimum of two years of experience leading or supervising teams in manufacturing environment including accountability or input into hiring and termination decisions.
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills to effectively manage a team of 20 employee owners.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (word, excel, etc.).
  • Experience with Epicor or other ERP system (e.g. SAP).
