Eaton’s ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking a Quality Technician - Assembly - 1st Shift to join our team on Badger Dr. in Waukesha, WI!

The hourly rate for this position is $26.25.

The core hours are 7:00 am - 3:00 pm. Overtime may exceed these hours and be mandatory at times. 

Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

What you’ll do:

The Quality Technician (Assembly) completes repairs and analysis reports of field return transformers and regulators.

Must have flexible schedule and able to work split shift such as 12 pm - 8 pm or similar.  

In this function, you will:

  • Complete repairs and analysis reports of field return transformers and regulators
  • Tear down fully assembled units and help determine root cause of failure
  • De-reel coils and help determine root cause of failure
  • Create or update Quality Alerts, Work Instructions, Job Safety Analysis or Product Quality Guidelines.
  • Read and interpret prints.
  • Demonstrate good written and oral communication skills.
  • Perform computer operations in Microsoft Office or other software used by Quality.
  • Complete other tasks as assigned

Qualifications:

Required (Basic) Qualifications:

  • A high school diploma or GED (General Education Degree) equivalent is required.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in Transformer OR Regulator Assembly.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience using Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook)
  • Minimum of one year of Transformer or Regulators assembly experience

Skills:

  • Ability to work overtime when required.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 LBS; bend, twist, grab, reach, stand, walk, push, pull, use both hands to lift and lower materials, and perform all other essential duties with or without reasonable accommodations.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule / split shift.
