Eaton’s ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking a Quality Technician - Assembly - 1st Shift to join our team on Badger Dr. in Waukesha, WI!

The hourly rate for this position is $26.25.

The core hours are 7:00 am - 3:00 pm. Overtime may exceed these hours and be mandatory at times.

Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

What you’ll do:

The Quality Technician (Assembly) completes repairs and analysis reports of field return transformers and regulators.

Must have flexible schedule and able to work split shift such as 12 pm - 8 pm or similar.

In this function, you will:

Complete repairs and analysis reports of field return transformers and regulators
Tear down fully assembled units and help determine root cause of failure
De-reel coils and help determine root cause of failure
Create or update Quality Alerts, Work Instructions, Job Safety Analysis or Product Quality Guidelines.
Read and interpret prints.
Demonstrate good written and oral communication skills.
Perform computer operations in Microsoft Office or other software used by Quality.
Complete other tasks as assigned

Qualifications:

Required (Basic) Qualifications:

A high school diploma or GED (General Education Degree) equivalent is required.
Minimum of 1 year of experience in Transformer OR Regulator Assembly.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience using Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook)
Minimum of one year of Transformer or Regulators assembly experience

Skills:

Ability to work overtime when required.
Ability to lift up to 50 LBS; bend, twist, grab, reach, stand, walk, push, pull, use both hands to lift and lower materials, and perform all other essential duties with or without reasonable accommodations.
Ability to work a flexible schedule / split shift.
