We Are Hiring: Retail Pharmacy Technician - .5 FTE- Days/ PMs

Schedule Details: This .5 FTE commits to 20 hours per week This position may rotate through all PHC retail sites- Waukesha Memorial Hospital, Oconomowoc Memorial Hospital, Mukwonago Hospital, and our Pewaukee Cancer Center. This position has an every 8th weekend rotation.
About Us:
The ProHealth Retail Pharmacy Department has four locations located throughout Waukesha County, including Oconomowoc Memorial Hospital, Pewaukee Cancer Center, Mukwonago Campus and Waukesha Memorial Hospital. Our four pharmacies fill approximately 5,000 prescriptions monthly while focusing on a personalized, one-on-one interaction with each patient. The ProHealth Pharmacy staff collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure all patients’ prescription needs are taken care of before going home. We primarily fill prescriptions for employees, patients discharging from the hospital, hospice patients, oncology patients, or patients seen by the Medical Group. The pharmacies’ integration with the rest of the healthcare system helps to improve our patient experience and allows our staff to provide more informed, safe care.
What You Will Do:
Technicians at the Tier 1 level perform basic pharmaceutical duties and work under the direct supervision of PHC Registered Pharmacists. A tier 1 technician needs to be proficient in basic mathematical and pharmaceutical calculations as well as computer and telephone skills. They will provide accurate, independent work and have the ability to interact well with other healthcare personnel as part of the PHC team. All tier 1 technicians will demonstrate competence in ordering and control of stock, selection of drug product, nonsterile drug preparation, controlled substance handling and pharmacy automated systems. Retail Tier 1 technicians will show proficiency in applicable insurance adjudication, prescription entry, cash handling and inventory control.
What you Will Need:
Registered Pharmacy Tech License with State of Wisconsin.
Graduated from highschool or equivalent.
